Other Notes about SMS

Server Check.in does not charge for text message alerts. However, because SMS messages cost money, we limit accounts to no more than fifty text messages per month. If your sites are down more than fifty times in a month, though, we hope you'll work on getting that fixed so you don't reach the fifty message limit in the future!

If you find that you're having a lot of down notifications, and are worried about running out of text messages, you can disable text message notifications for certain servers by editing the server and unchecking the 'SMS' option under Notifications; this way, your messages will be reserved for the more mission-critical servers and sites you'd like to monitor.
